I found myself needing to rewrite my post from yesterday since I didn’t finish or post it. Let me share what I did yesterday. I had quite a bit of trouble typing in the morning because Sandy kept jumping in front of my keyboard. Every time I tried to push her off my desk, she would immediately hop back on.
In the morning, Kel and I visited her dad, and afterward, they dropped me off at the hair salon for a haircut. Since our usual stylist is still recovering, I went to a different salon. Fortunately, the haircut turned out well, although it was a bit pricey. I had three inches taken off my hair. I don’t know why she brushed it when it was dry. My wavy hair just looked like one big poof ball when I left.
After my haircut, Kel’s dad invited us to breakfast at a small restaurant. The food was tasty, but I didn’t eat much as I wanted to save my appetite for tea later on. Kel and I had plans to meet Tommy at the restaurant before our reservation. Following breakfast, we made a stop at Starbucks. Alexis wanted a drink and generously offered to get something for me, Kel, and Karissa. I opted for a small cold brew.
Kel and I returned home, where we cleaned up and spent some time on the computer. Afterward, we prepared for tea and met Tommy at the restaurant. He looked quite tired, having had a busy day. The tea was delightful! They serve it with a tiered tray of food and offer three different teas, making it a fun experience. Unfortunately, we forgot our tea ‘passports,’ so we got our receipt stamped, which will allow us to have our passports stamped next time. We also purchased three bags of tea.
After tea, Tommy and I headed home, while Kel stopped by to see Chris briefly before heading to Trader Joe’s. Tommy and I intended to work out, but we ended up feeling too exhausted. I really need to make more of an effort to stay on top of my workouts. Instead, we watched some YouTube videos before heading to bed.
Today, I plan to finish the cloning function; I think I can complete it, even though it’s still a bit confusing. I can’t seem to figure out the end of the code. Or maybe the beginning isn’t working. I’m not sure.
I’ve been hearing about Labubu everywhere, so I looked it up. It’s a cute little monster character, reminiscent of anime. I guess people use it as a charm for their bags or something similar. It seems a bit large to serve that purpose, but it appears to be the trend right now. However, ever since I looked into it for just two minutes, I’ve been inundated with Labubu ads on social media!
I had my lunch and returned to coding. That’s been the focus of my day, so I don’t have much else to share. I have about a half hour left to work on my coding. I think I’ll prepare some tea, probably matcha, and after coding, I might do some reading.
