Karissa has an appointment scheduled for today, but this morning the dentist informed me that they are out of oxygen tanks and, as a result, are unable to proceed with any procedures. This raises concerns, as it appears problematic for a medical facility to lack a crucial resource like oxygen. The impact of this shortage extends beyond dental services; it affects the entire facility. They mentioned that I would receive a call at 11:15 to update me on whether Karissa can take her medication. If they still do not have oxygen tanks by then, we will need to reschedule her appointment. It’s difficult to understand how a facility could find itself in such a situation.
Ok, they called and canceled Karissa’s appointment. Her next appointment is now in July. I knew they were going to have to cancel. She always seems to have her appointments canceled on her. Her cardiology appointment was canceled and now her dentist appointment was canceled. /sigh

The girls have been working on their chores for over an hour now. I didn’t expect them to take this long. Karissa was responsible for the dining area, where she needed to organize several items and put them away, as well as sweep the floor. Alexis took on the living room.
