I spent my day coding, so I don’t have much to discuss. The kids are asking for spaghetti again, so Alex and Alexis went to Walmart to pick up dinner ingredients. Tommy has band practice tonight, and I’m not quite sure what I’ll do in the evening. Perhaps I’ll play Final Fantasy XIV and practice using my gaming mouse on it.
We’re packing this weekend, as our trip is approaching quickly. Everyone is excited! Kel, our friends, and I have plans to get our nails done on Sunday. Tommy also has an early hockey game that night. We’re planning to take one car, so Kel and Alex will join us to watch the game.
Tonight, I’m thinking I might read a bit after playing Final Fantasy. I need to finish “The Paris Apartment.” I’ve also put a few books on hold at the library to have something to read during our nine-hour flight. This isn’t my first long journey; when I flew to Germany, that trip also took nine hours. The flight from the Philippines was quite lengthy as well, although I was only a year old at the time, so I don’t remember it.
For now, I’m going to check on dinner and make myself a cup of matcha tea.
