On Day 10, we enjoyed another relaxing day at sea. We have a few more excursions ahead before we head home on Wednesday. While I’ve thoroughly enjoyed this vacation, I’m starting to feel ready to return home. I miss the kids and our pets, and I find myself longing for my usual routine. I’ve definitely indulged a bit too much in the food! Today, I opted for Coke Zero and a virgin strawberry margarita instead of alcohol, as I just didn’t feel like drinking. I also treated myself to a cappuccino.
For breakfast, I enjoyed French toast. Although it wasn’t on the menu today, the Princess app indicated it was available, so we went ahead and ordered it anyway. We had a short wait while they prepared it, but we didn’t mind at all. After breakfast, Tommy and I tackled some laundry. We decided to wash just three days’ worth, figuring we could take care of the rest once we returned home. While waiting for the load to dry, I drifted off to sleep. Tommy took that as a hint that I needed coffee, so we both headed down to grab a cappuccino.
After the dryer completed its cycle, Kel and Tommy went out for lunch together, while I joined our friends at the pool deck. I enjoyed a slice of pizza accompanied by a Coke Zero. Once we finished eating, we headed out for gelato. Following that, I returned to the room to change into my bathing suit before meeting up with my friends at the pool. As we made our way there, Tommy and Kel joined us. We spent some time in the hot tub before heading back to our room to change once again. Finally, we returned to the pool area and played a card game while waiting for our dinner reservation.
Our friends had a reservation at a different dining area on the ship, so their daughter joined Tommy, Kel, and me for dinner in the main dining room. After dropping their daughter off at the kids’ club, we met up with our friends. We played a dice game for a while until it was time for them to pick up their daughter from the kids’ club. Following that, Tommy, Kel, and I headed to the Wheelhouse Bar, where we enjoyed some music for a bit before returning to our room. I had a virgin strawberry margarita at the bar.
Upon arriving at the room, we discovered that some of our clothes were still damp. Tommy and I decided to take them to the laundry room and place them in the dryer. While we waited, I seized the opportunity to write. We have just retrieved the clothes from the laundry room and put them away. Now, I believe it’s time to head to bed, as it is late and we have an early morning ahead of us.
