My doctor’s appointment took us an hour to get to, and the actual visit lasted all of five minutes. CT scans really are that quick. It’s wild that they couldn’t schedule me in the city, especially since it’s the same hospital system. My ENT appointment in October is also at the same place where I had my CT scan. Still, it was nice to get out of the house for a bit.
This afternoon, Kel has an appointment at the high school, and later we’re heading to Walmart. I need to check on Alexis’s medication, and we’ll pick up something for dinner. We’re leaning toward lasagna, but we haven’t made a decision yet.
I just finished dinner—we had lasagna and garlic bread. It was good, though definitely not the kind of meal I can have all the time. Still, it’s nice as a treat. Now I’m winding down, watching YouTube and playing a little Final Fantasy XIV. I didn’t have much planned for tonight, so I’m just taking it easy.
Next to me is a bag full of ephemera from my trip, along with a Traveler’s Notebook insert I’ve been meaning to turn into a travel journal. My mini printer is charging, so I can print photos for it. I don’t know why I’ve been putting it off—I’m really excited to make it, but at the same time I feel a little anxious about starting.
It’s getting late now, so I’m going to do my nighttime routine and relax a bit more. Maybe I’ll play on the Switch before bed. Tommy has the day off tomorrow, and I’m hoping we can make progress on my desk. He got me a charging station and a mount for my monitor, which I’m really excited about. I can’t wait to finish the desk, decorate it, and get all my stationery organized.
