My sleep quality last night was awful. I kept having to get up, and my stomach feels completely out of sorts. After Tommy and Kel left for work, I went back to sleep but kept waking up repeatedly; it still wasn’t restful.
This morning, I played it safe and had some toast, just plain with a little butter. I’m hesitant to put much else into my stomach right now since everything feels so unsettled. I also made myself a cup of hot tea, hoping the warmth would help calm things down. I don’t believe I have a stomach bug or a fever. It could simply be that I’ve just finished a course of antibiotics, and they’ve thrown my stomach out of whack. I am cold, however, so I have my blanket around me.
Tommy has his band’s holiday party tomorrow, so I’m going to bake some brownies for him to take along. He also has a catered lunch at work today, which is a nice little perk in the middle of the week.
I spent today working on TryHackMe, and I also got some cooking done. I made brownies and salsa. The salsa is for tonight’s dinner; I believe we’re having tacos. I’ll start making dinner around 5.
I’m feeling a bit better now. Not quite back to normal yet, but I’m definitely improving and heading in the right direction.
I’m going to post this now and call it a day. Maybe tomorrow I’ll have more to share. This week is shaping up to be pretty low-key, which honestly might be a good thing. There’s not much on my calendar until Saturday, so it should be fairly quiet around here. The only thing I have noted is that Tommy has a doctor’s appointment tomorrow morning. Other than that, it’s a calm week ahead.
