Tommy was cleaning out his car’s center console and found a couple of black tea packets tucked in there. I’m guessing they only got there in the past few days, so they should still be good. I might make myself a London Fog with one of them later. Right now, though, I’m just sipping on a Coke. I’ve already had my two cups of coffee today, so I definitely don’t need more.
I went back to sleep this morning, so I got a late start on coding. The day feels like it’s slipping away—it’s already past lunch and I still haven’t eaten. I might make myself a sandwich later. It feels like I haven’t gotten much done today, but at least I managed to take care of some calls. I found out I can’t refill my medication until I have a doctor’s appointment, so I scheduled a medication management virtual appointment for this Wednesday. I’ll need the refill by this weekend, and Walmart should be able to fill it within a day. I also called the Walmart pharmacy about Alexis’s medication. It should have been refilled, but apparently, the insurance won’t cover it until the 16th, so that’s when Walmart will process it.
Last weekend, we made some progress on my desk. We sanded it down and added another coat of polyurethane. It still needs to be sanded and sealed again, but it’s getting closer to being ready—and I’m really excited to use it finally! My old desk is on its last legs. It creaks every time I sit down, and I have to be careful not to put too much weight on it.
On Saturday, Tommy and I went to Costco. He picked up his new glasses and contacts, and we did a little food shopping while we were there. On Sunday, we headed over to our friends’ place to hang out by the pool. Later that evening, Tommy had a hockey game—he played really well and scored a goal.
I made myself a London Fog earlier. There’s a hornet’s nest on the dumpster at the top of the driveway, and someone’s coming out tomorrow to deal with it. For now, no one wants to go near the dumpster. I already told the kids to stay away, and I’m definitely not walking past it to get the mail today.
Later, after I put some clothes away, I might log into Final Fantasy XIV. I’ve designed my house, FC chamber, and apartment before, and now I want to start working on my island sanctuary. I’m not sure yet if I’ll play tonight, but I’d like to.
I’ve decided to watch a bit of YouTube for now. Maybe I’ll play some FFXIV later tonight. Sandy is currently lying on my hand, making it a little tricky to type.
