Remember when I went to Tricore the first time and found out there were no lab orders for me, so I had to call the doctor to have them resend them? Well, I went back to Tricore this morning to finally get my lab work done, and once again—no orders for me. I called the doctor’s office and had them message the doctor to put the orders in again. This is getting frustrating. If they want my blood, shouldn’t they at least make sure the orders are in?
Alexis had to get blood drawn today, too. They took one vial, and she ended up passing out. So, they’ll have to take the second vial another day. I think we’ll go back on Thursday, and I’ll stay with her this time. I feel bad that I wasn’t in the room with her today. She usually just gets dizzy when she has blood drawn, but not to the point of passing out. Hopefully, on Thursday, it goes more smoothly.
I haven’t started reading Great Big Beautiful Life or The House of My Mother yet. I have both on my Kindle, but I just haven’t gotten around to them. Maybe I’ll start reading on Thursday—Tommy has practice then, so it might be a good time to settle in with a book.
Tommy showed me this free online cybersecurity course, and it’s so cool. I’ve watched a few videos so far, and I’m really enjoying it. I’ve always liked cybersecurity—though you wouldn’t know it from my old password habits. Tommy helped me set up a better system, so now I’m a little more secure. I’ve always found technology fascinating. The videos are super interesting, and I even have a book on cybersecurity that I need to dive into more.
I’m going to do a bit more coding and then spend some time reading. The Chile Colorado came out really good last night. I think tonight we’re having that again and just fending for ourselves. I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed right now, like there’s so much to do—even though, realistically, there isn’t that much. I still need to put away some clothes, but I’m not sure why I feel so overloaded.
I think it’s time for some hot tea. I haven’t had any tea today yet.
