I’m keeping track of Lexi’s journey through text updates. They’re halfway to their destination, and knowing where she is has been helping me stay focused today, although my focus hasn’t been great. I don’t know what I did, but my left shoulder blade is painful, about an 8 out of 10, and it hurts when I take deep breaths. I’ve taken some Tylenol for the pain.
I don’t have much to share today. I almost considered not writing today, but here I am.
Later in the day, I asked Kel to apply some tiger balm to my shoulder blade. Surprisingly, I discovered a large bruise on my back, but I have no idea how it got there.
A thunderstorm rages outside much later in the day, threatening to knock out our power. I hope it doesn’t, as we’re in the midst of preparing dinner. I’ll post this quickly so I can get back to cooking.
