HTML Project

I need to create a landing page, which I haven’t done before. Perhaps that’s why I had to retake the foundations course. I’ve only allocated a week for this part, so I only have two days to write a webpage. I’m now feeling overwhelmed and a bit panicked, and I’m starting to doubt my ability to do this. But hey, how hard can it be, right? LOL

It’s time for lunch and I’ve made good progress on the HTML part of the project. Working on the HTML has been enjoyable and not too challenging. The real challenge will be the CSS. We have a visual reference for how the webpage should look, so the difficult part will be mimicking that design.

I’m planning to have toast and eggs for lunch today. Although it’s typically a breakfast meal, I skipped breakfast this morning, so I’m having it for lunch – a sort of brunch if you will. I haven’t decided on dinner yet, but I’m considering having hot dogs. Tommy has band practice, so he’ll be home late. Since I don’t feel like going to the store and we already have hot dogs and buns at home, it just makes sense to go with that option.

Kel bought some stew meat and soup mix and placed it in the crock pot. We’re planning to have it over rice. I believe I made good progress on my project today. Tomorrow, I need to incorporate images onto the page and make some CSS adjustments. It’s a fun project. I’m undecided on what to do next. I think I’ll spend some time watching YouTube and then play Skyrim.

Today’s therapy session was productive. We didn’t delve into many topics, but we did explore my recent feelings of restlessness and how I’ve been seeking distractions. I’ve felt more at ease today and have managed to focus on my project. I realized that next week in therapy, we need to update my treatment plan, as we do every three months.

I’m off now to watch some YouTube and play on my computer.
