Random day
Geez, I haven’t written anything all day, and now I’m sitting here staring at a blank page wondering what to say. Do I just ramble about my day and hope it somehow becomes interesting? Do I try to come up with something deep or compelling? I usually post around 4:00, so I’m running out of time to magically become inspired.
I guess I’ll just write about today.
This morning I tackled organizing the drawers on the right side of my desk. Those are definitely the “easy” drawers. The real disaster zone is on the left side, but I wasn’t mentally prepared to take on that battle today. At least I made some progress, and having one side organized already makes my workspace feel a little less chaotic.
After that, I spent a few hours studying. It wasn’t the most exciting part of the day, but it needed to be done. Some days studying feels productive, and other days it just feels like you’re forcing information into your brain one page at a time. Today was somewhere in the middle.
Then it was time for my doctor’s appointment. Unfortunately, I still have a double ear infection. So… that’s just wonderful. I was really hoping it would be gone by now, but apparently not. The doctor prescribed ear drops this time instead of just the antibiotics I’ve already been taking. My prescription is ready at Walmart, so I’ll be picking that up later. I’m really hoping the ear drops finally do the trick because I’m getting tired of dealing with this. I also have a follow-up appointment next Tuesday so they can check everything again.
I also decided to cancel my lab work appointment scheduled for Friday. The appointment wasn’t until 3:00 in the afternoon, which meant fasting until then. Honestly, that sounds miserable. On top of that, Tommy pointed out that making two separate trips to the city on the same day didn’t make much sense. He was right.
Instead, I rescheduled the lab work for next Wednesday morning. The plan is to head to the city with Tommy and Kel, which should make the trip a lot more convenient. Hopefully, Kel’s schedule works out. If not, I might end up having to reschedule again, but I’m crossing my fingers that everything lines up this time.
So that’s been my day. Nothing especially exciting happened. Just organizing messy drawers, studying, and dealing with stubborn ear infections.
